What is HEPA?
HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter. HEPA air filters are composed of fibrous material that captures fine airborne particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and even bacteria from the air. By definition, True HEPA filters must achieve a minimum efficiency off 99.97% at 0.3 micron (a very difficult particle size to capture).
Alen offers True HEPA (H13) filters, which capture 99.9% of airborne particles as small as 0.1 micron (including aerosolized viruses).
