Changing the Filter for the BreatheSmart 35i

The Filter Life Indicator, located just above the FILTER button, is a light that can turn one of three colors: Green, Orange, and Red.

• The light will be Green for most of the life of the filter.
• The light will switch to Orange shortly before your filter should be replaced. This is the ideal time to order a new filter.
• Once the light turns red, it is time to replace the filter.

Though the light may be green for some time, we recommend regular filter replacements (at least every 9-12 months for the Pure filter and every 6-8 months for the upgraded filters with normal use) to extend the life of your air purifier and maximize performance.

To change your BreatheSmart 35i filter:

1. With the unit standing upright, pull firmly on the front panel near the intake vents with one or both hands to release the magnets.
2. After pulling the front panel out, lift it away from the unit.
3. Remove used filter by turning the filter lock counter-clockwise to release, and then pull out the filter using the finger nooks. Place the used filter in a plastic bag to prevent dust from re-entering the air.
4. Take new filter out of the plastic bag, insert the bottom. Push the top of the filter into the unit and turn the filter lock clockwise to secure the filter in place.
5. Insert the bottom hooks on the front panel; first and then the upper part of the panel will snap into place.
